We recently decided to redo our Campbell flooring showroom, and we wanted to share this story with you through the images below. We really enjoy displaying our passion for creative flooring projects and our ability to do flooring. Our team worked together to do everything from wood flooring strips, customized wood designs (like our medallion starburst pattern below), different examples of the types of wood grains we offer, different types of wood flooring patterns (like Herringbone), and so much more! We enjoy bringing flooring visions into reality, and you can see that through the following images.
Dominic is tearing up the old floors of the showroom. We used a flooring saw to cut up the floors in sections and then we ripped them out to be replaced.
Dominic is taking out pieces of the older floors by removing the nails and then taking out each piece of wood.

Putting together the border of the new medallion starburst section of the floor. A variety of wooden floors (some prefinished, different grades of unfinished white oak & red oak) were installed in squares by the back wall.
Adding in the borders for the new Showcase section of the showroom. We worked on the four wooden squares by the long unfinished wooden piece section, which was one of the most time-consuming parts of the new floors!

Dominic & Sylvester gluing down another section of the floors. The prefinished floors were glued & nailed down by Sylvester by the showroom entrance. Dominic glued & nailed down a variety of long unfinished wood pieces.

Applying the finishing material to the floors after sanding. Dominic & Daniel coated the floor with a neutral stain. The corner had a gray stain (The gray stains help bring out the rustic appearance of wood).
Dominic & Daniel continuing to apply the finishing stain material. Dominic added a 3rd layer of water-based polyurethane finish. The water-based finish really brings out the natural color of the wood. With every coat of the stain, he has to apply the finish, wait for it to dry, and then brush/roughen it up. He added four layers over the course of a few days!
